Wecome
Whiteriver is located on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in the beautiful White Mountains of northeastern Arizona.

Our District is comprised of three Elementary schools, one Junior High, one High School, and an Alternative High School.

We are very proud of our staff and the relationship they enjoy with our students. Our staff represent a variety of cultures and mesh well with our predominately Apache students.

Our Foucs

It is our School District's commitment to minimize the impact of State Budget difficulties and cuts to the quality of education being offered to the children of our community.

While we are teaching our students state standards, we are still taking in consideration their cultural needs. It is important to teach our students how to know who they are while still mastering state standards.

The financial crisis has hit our community.  It is the role of WUSD to stand up and keep our community together. We are a symbol of stability and support. Our teachers are sensitive to our students who are dealing with tough times.
